Due to the proportionally large frontal area of the Full Metal Jacket Flat-Nose, a shoulder stabilisation is being achieved, which has a positive effect on the precision features. Furthermore, with the same cartridge length a bullet with a higher mass can be used.

- The large frontal area provides stabilisation of the bullet
- High mass bullet due to flat head construction
