Patrick Kummer
As the reigning German 3-gun master, I am absolutely dependent on the one hundred percent functional reliability of my match ammunition for rifle/pistol carbines, shotguns and pistols...
German 3-Gun Championship in August 2020
This is because rectifying a weapon malfunction costs valuable time, which still passes despite the highly desirable safe weapon handling. In dynamic sport shooting, you shoot against time and hundredths of a second can make all the difference to your position on the scorecard. Therefore, apart from experience, parcourse analysis, hand-eye coordination and accurate, rapid marksmanship, the functional reliability of the equipment is a basic requirement for success. Winning the German 3-Gun Championship in August 2020 has produced one of the highlights of my trophy collection. The task here was to use all three weapon classes over six parcourses, and overall I fired around 300 shots.
GECO FMJ 9mm Luger 124 Grains
I used the GECO 124 Grains FMJ in the pistol carbine and the pistol as well as the Rottweil 28 grams in my Benelli M2. As an internationally active marksman who also competes in many non-domestic matches, it is also a not to be underestimated advantage that, wherever I land, I should be able to purchase GECO ammunition from local munitions dealers wherever necessary.
This makes shooting life a lot easier, for example when travelling by air, and in competitions I can rely on the always consistent performance of my familiar GECO cartridges.

GECO FULL METAL JACKET
Due to its technically simple construction, the FMJ bullet is not expensive to manufacture. It therefore particularly appeals to shooters with high training intensities.

GECO HEXAGON
Modelled on the hollow-point design, the HEXAGON bullet was built for absolute precision and without regard for its expansion properties. This non-expanding bullet thus combines the advantages of the HP design, such as the closed end, with optimal potential for accuracy.

GECO ACTION EXTREME
Handgun ammunition with unparalleled stopping power. The bullet mushrooms in a controlled manner and achieves outstanding penetration. The energy is transferred completely to the target, resulting in excellent stopping power. Shooters can count on GECO Action Extreme.

GECO LEAD ROUND NOSE COPPER-PLATED
The reduced smoke production and minimal pollution load of the copper-plated variant round off the advantages of the LRN bullet.

GECO ENCAPSULATED FMJ
The encapsulated version emerged as a successor product to the conventional FMJ bullets, it being distinguished by a reduced pollution load and smoke production.

GECO WAD CUTTER
Thanks to its shoulder-stabilized attitude in flight, the wad cutter bullet allows for outstanding accuracy even with low projectile velocities.

GECO JACKETED HOLLOW POINT
The hollow-point bullet is the perfect choice if absolute precision is what you’re after. That is why it has enjoyed the trust of top shooters from across the globe for many years now.

GECO FULL METAL JACKET FLAT NOSE
Due to the proportionally large frontal area of the Full Metal Jacket Flat-Nose, a shoulder stabilisation is being achieved, which has a positive effect on the precision features. Furthermore, with the same cartridge length a bullet with a higher mass can be used.

GECO LEAD ROUND NOSE
The traditional LRN bullet conforms well to the barrel profile and also results in very little wear on the barrel due to reduced friction.

GECO SOFTPOINT
The soft-point bullet represents a compromise between the FMJ and the hollow-point bullet in terms of its design.
