OOOPS… WE DID IT AGAIN! IPSC EC: IT’S OFFICIAL

The 2025 IPSC season has barely wrapped up, and yet the wind on the range is already shifting towards the future. The plans for a strong 2026 are in place — and here’s what we can reveal already (spoiler alert!):
When the next IPSC Handgun European Championship kicks off in Buzsák, Hungary, GECO will once again serve as the official sponsor, providing the reliable match ammunition that sets the rhythm on every stage.

IPSC Action at Lake Balaton
After 2016, the European Championship returns to Hungary — once again to Lake Balaton, a place that in summer radiates freedom, holiday spirit and wide horizons… and in 2026 will become the arena for over 1,000 athletes competing for titles, points and prestige.
The Buzsák range seems built for big moments: wide stages, modern infrastructure, the unmistakable ring of steel — all just a few kilometres from Hungary’s largest lake.
And there’s a major first: the new IPSC “Optics” Division will debut as part of the official EC programme. A milestone that marks the future of Action Shooting — speed, precision and a new generation of performance.
GECO Athletes in the Spotlight
Even though the 2026 main stage is still ahead, the GECO IPSC DREAM TEAM is already gearing up. Training cycles have begun, gear is being tested, stages visualised — the countdown is officially on.
We look forward to celebrating podium finishes from ALL our athletes.

WHERE EXCITEMENT STARTS
An Event to Watch Closely
The Balaton region is still quiet. But in 2026 it will transform into a true action zone, where seconds decide titles, steel rings out and new stories are written. And GECO will be right there again — as partner, supporter and fan of our athletes.
Until then: train, prepare, dream.
And for us?
Ooops… we did it again.
